CEFEPIME 1 GM + TAZOBACTAM 125 MG is a combination of two drugs: Cefepime (Cephalosporin Antibiotic) and Tazobactam (Beta-lactamase inhibitor). CEFEPIME 1 GM + TAZOBACTAM 125 MG is used to treat bacterial infections.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR CEFEPIME 1 GM + TAZOBACTAM 125 MG

Take CEFEPIME 1 GM + TAZOBACTAM 125 MG after having a meal to avoid stomach upset.
Please do not self-administer CEFEPIME 1 GM + TAZOBACTAM 125 MG. Your doctor/nurse will administer it.
 Do not take CEFEPIME 1 GM + TAZOBACTAM 125 MG if you have or had an allergic reaction to antibiotics like cephalosporins, monobactams or carbapenems. Symptoms of allergic reaction include swelling of face, throat, hands, feet, ankles or severe rashes that develop quickly.
Please do not stop taking CEFEPIME 1 GM + TAZOBACTAM 125 MG even though you feel better. You are advised to take CEFEPIME 1 GM + TAZOBACTAM 125 MG for as long as your doctor has prescribed it.
Please consult your doctor if you have diarrhea after the medicine is administered. You are advised to drink plenty of water and to take non-spicy meals.
