Hydroxychloroquine Tablets is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:

• Hydroxychloroquine is employed to treat systemic lupus erythematosus
• rheumatic disorders like atrophic arthritis
• porphyria cutanea tarda, and Q fever, and certain sorts of malaria
• It’s considered the first-line treatment for systemic lupus erythematosus.

Hydroxychloroquine Tablets Working, Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology
Hydroxychloroquine improves the patients condition by performing the following functions:

• Hydroxychloroquine increases lysosomal pH in antigen-presenting cells.
• In inflammatory conditions, it blocks toll-like receptors on plasmacytoid dendritic cells (PDCs).
• Antimalaria is lipophilic weak bases and simply pass plasma membranes.
• Changes in pH cause inhibition of lysosomal acidic proteases causing a diminished proteolysis effect.
