nimodipine is used for Subarachnoid Hemorrhage, Ischemic Neurological Deficits, Ruptured Congenital Intracranial Aneurysms and other conditions.Nimodipine improves the patient's condition by performing the following functions: Relaxing and widening of blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily through them thereby improving the blood supply to the brain.

Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious.
