This is a combination of two antibiotics: Ornidazole and Ofloxacin
Ofloxacin- Ornidazole tablet is used to treat infections caused by bacteria requiring and not requiring oxygen for growth. These infections include diarrhea, a stomach infection, disorders of the female reproductive system and pelvic inflammatory infections. It also used to treat foot ulcers especially in patients with a weak immune system, lung infection, and patients with diabetes.

Ofloxacin Ornidazole Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:

• Gastrointestinal infections: acute diarrhea or dysentery

• Vaginal Infections
• Urinary Tract Infections

Ofloxacin Ornidazole Tablet Working, Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology
Ofloxacin Ornidazole Tablet improves the patients condition by performing the following functions:

• Ofloxacin belongs to a class of drugs called quinolone antibiotics, works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria.
• Ornidazole reduces the nitro group to more reactive amine groups that interrupt the formation of microbial DNA. The action of Ornidazole results in loss of helical structure and DNA breakdown kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.

Ofloxacin Ornidazole Tablet  Composition and Active Ingredients
Ofloxacin Ornidazole Tablet is composed of the following active ingredients (salts)

• Ofloxacin (200 MG)
• Ornidazole (500 MG)
